Mamallapuram Bus Stand @ Mahabalipuram.
Paired columns and a moulded cornice run the length of the terminal frontage, and the roofline steps back in tiers above it. A gateway of the same order spans the entry. Bus bays sit under a deep canopy of stepped tiers carried on wide columns. Seen from above, the building wraps two sides of the bay apron; a water body lies beyond the boundary, and palms line the forecourt.
