Villa @ Kodaikanal.
Rough stone covers the walls, broken by tall glazing and by balconies that cantilever from each floor. Flat roof planes overhang well past the wall line. The 1,970 sq ft house steps down a slope, with a timber-slatted gate and compound wall closing the road edge. All three views are set at night in mist, the rooms lit behind the glass.
