(The project)
AP Square @ Chennai.
Two glazed retail volumes stand behind stepped white frames that carry concealed lighting along each edge. The frames project past the shopfronts and read as deep portals from the road. Parking runs across the forecourt between the frontage and the kerb. Day and night views cover the same 11,716 sq ft elevation, the lighting picking out the frame profiles after dark.
