Karur Bus Stand
(The project)
Karur Bus Stand.
Rows of buses park under a repeating array of curved white canopies, set behind a two-storey concourse block with a deep flat roof and a glazed upper level. Portal gateways mark each entry from the road, their panels cut with a hexagonal perforation. The concourse carries a projecting canopy over the drop-off. Cars and auto-rickshaws fill a surface park on the far side, with open fields beyond the boundary.
