(The project)

KG Vidyashram School @ Villupuram.

Perforated screen panels are set into a cream rendered wall at Villupuram, 18,440 square feet. The panels run full height beside recessed windows and vertical louvres, so the front alternates between solid wall and screen. At the centre the frontage is pulled forward as a flat canopy over the drop-off. Low wings run to either side, behind palms and clipped planting.
